HOPE RockFest is back, baby! Our 3rd annual edition, as part of Capital Music Week, is taking place on October 3rd, 2026 at the Lone Star Loft.
We know you’ve been excited to find out which local acts are hitting the stage for this celebration of music, so here they are:
A Rose For Ann is a pop punk band born from the heart of Kingston and Cornwall, Ontario, blending the raw energy of early 2000s punk with infectious modern melodies. With driving guitars, punchy drums, and earworm top lines, the band captures the spirit of the Warped Tour era while carving out a fresh sound all their own.
Futura Free is an Ottawa-based recording project started by songwriter/producer Peter Luft. Blending the effortless hooks of pop-punk and indie rock with the transcendent atmosphere of shoegaze and dream pop, Futura Free balances these diametric styles with a laser-focused precision.
Last Stop is a high energy electronic rock duo based out of Ottawa/Gatineau. With no shortage of instrumental and sonic versatility, their live show packs a punch. The duo swaps between an assortment of instruments ranging from electric guitar, to drums, trumpet, piano, and heavy synths to create an experience you’ve never quite seen before.

We’ll also be featuring Capital Music Week showcase artist Amanda Keeley, an angel-voiced solo musician who’s been nominated at this year’s Capital Music Awards! We’re so thrilled to be partnering with Capital Music Week this year, and to truly amplify independent music. The local scene is bursting with talent, and there’s nothing we love more than supporting our community.
ABOUT CAPITAL MUSIC WEEK:
Centred around the Capital Music Awards, CxMW returns October 2-10, 2026, as Ottawa’s city-wide collaborative musical celebration. The week-long event transforms the city into an immersive, city-wide celebration of live music, creativity, nightlife, and community, bringing together artists, fans, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and local businesses.
