SummerFest is This Weekend!!

Are you ready to take over Mooney’s Bay Beach for the hottest party of the Summer? In just a few days, we’ll be having a blast on the beach with action-packed volleyball matches, awesome live music, and community love. That’s right! HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is THIS WEEKEND.

Before we can party on the beach together, we have to throw a ton of info your way. It’ll be worth it, we swear. We’re launching SummerFest on an epic note with our Kit Pickup and Pre-Party on Friday, July 11, from 5 - 9 PM. Teams: make sure those team waivers are signed for a seamless Kit Pick-Up experience! No team? We still want you there!

With so many fun things to do on Game Day, it’s time to lock in your SummerFest plan. Will your crew spend time unwinding at the Main Bar concert or the HOT Zone? Will you visit the Charity Pavilion and Vendor Village? Or all of the above! To help you out, here’s our schedule for the day…

7 AM: Gates are open!
8 AM: Competitive Teams begin playing.
9 AM: Recreational and Corporate Teams begin playing (check out your team schedule here).
10:30 AM: The HOT Zone and Main Bar open.
11 AM - 1 PM: Team Lunches.
12:45 PM: The Concert kicks off!
6 PM: Team playoffs wrap up and the HOT Zone closes (time to take the party to the Main Bar Stage)!
7 PM: The Concert wraps up, and that’s another year in the books!

There are some things you can bring (and not bring) to set you up for success on event day.

Bring these with you:

  • A reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • ID
  • A debit or credit card

Leave these at home (or in your car):

  • Opened or unsealed liquids
  • Alcohol
  • Glass bottles
  • Tobacco or Cannabis
  • Cash
  • Knives, scissors, or cutting utensils
  • Animals (service animals are permitted)
  • Drones
  • Portable ice baths, pools or hot tubs
  • Large golf umbrellas
  • Portable BBQs with propane tanks

Professional cameras with detachable lenses are not allowed in the Main Bar Concert area, but are allowed on the beach. On the subject of liquids — we discourage bringing your own drinks. Opened liquids (and of course alcoholic ones) are not allowed on site, and if our security team suspects that your beverage is opened, you will not be able to bring it in. Ultimately, we leave it up to security’s discretion and cannot guarantee it will be allowed in.

Bringing a reusable water bottle is always encouraged! It’s good for the planet, and we can guarantee you can bring it past the gate (but you may need to dump it out first). We’ll have free water stations by Aquahaulics, and from there, you can add a powdered electrolyte mix if plain water isn’t your thing.

And that’s everything you need to know to have a legendary time at SummerFest. We’ll see you on the beach!
