Last night, we hosted our annual Celebration of HOPE at Overflow Brewing Company. This is an event where we have the honour of presenting our Recipient Charities from the past summer’s HOPE Volleyball SummerFest with the funding we raised through team registrations, concert tickets, sponsorships, vendor booths, and donations.
Long story short, it’s a beautifully emotional and deeply fulfilling evening. A stunning reminder of why we do what we do. Giving back to our community is worth more than we could ever express - and we’re so lucky that we get to have so much fun while we do it!
This year, our Recipient Charities were:
- Upstream Ottawa Mental Health Community Support
- Ottawa Humane Society
- Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma
- The Door Youth Centre
- Youth Services Bureau
Each of these charities were incredible to work with throughout 2025, and we are so excited to see how this funding helps shape the future of their charitable, life-changing programs - both new and existing.
Now, we are announcing our 2026 HOPE Volleyball SummerFest Recipient Charities! These fabulous organizations will be receiving funding from all of our efforts at next summer’s event:
- Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa
- Children at Risk
- CHEO Foundation
- Shepherds of Good Hope Foundation
We are so looking forward to partnering with these hard-working community builders over the next year. 2026 is going to be amazing!
