2009 Event Guide

Participants and spectators will be subject to cooler checks upon entry to the beach. RESTRICTED ITEMS (Items not permitted through the gates)

  • Alcohol of any type
  • Knives, scissors, razor blades, (potential weapons)
  • Umbrellas (increased risk of injury due to pointed parts)
  • Glass containers of any type
  • Pets of any type
  • Bicycles (bicycles can be parked in secure bike compound north of Gate 1)
  • Roller blades, skateboards are permitted on grounds, but not to be used
We encourage you to plan wisely: appoint a designated driver or take public transportation. Do not drink and drive. 
 
1000 coed teams of 6 - 10 players play at least 5 games of volleyball and compete for prizes and bragging rights.

Ottawa Citizen Corporate Challenge: Recreational play with exclusive VIP Perks

Competitive: For more serious players who like to spike

Competitive Plus: Competitive volleyball plus Corporate VIP perks

  • Teams must have a minimum of six players and a maximum of ten
  • Teams must have two females on the court at all times during play
  • Each team is guaranteed five games
  • Players must not be registered on more than one team
  • Spiking is allowed in the Competitive Division only
