Giving is a day at the beach!

HOPE is committed to raising money for local charities and over the years has donated more than 3.2 million dollars to over 100 charities. In 2008 proceeds from HOPE Volleyball SummerFest will support:

Canadian Diabetes Association—Ottawa & District Branch
Mission: To promote the health of Canadians and eliminate diabetes through research, education, service and advocacy with a strong nationwide network of volunteers, employees, healthcare professionals, researchers, partners and supporters.

Kidney Foundation of Canada—Eastern Ontario Chapter
Mission: To reduce the burden of kidney disease through: funding and stimulating innovative research; providing education and support; promoting access to high quality healthcare; and increased public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.

Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities
Mission: To support people in Ottawa-Carleton with developmental disabilities through a holistic approach that includes individualized support service planning; community integration; workforce development; education and advocacy.

Ottawa Deaf Centre
Mission: : To serve the best interests of the deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people in the capital region through programs, services and activities that meet the educational, recreational, social and cultural needs of this community.

Ottawa Food Bank
Mission: To cost-effectively collect, process, store and then equitably and efficiently distribute quality food to service agencies in the National Capital Region that in turn distribute food directly to those in need.

Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health
Mission: To raise funds and awareness for the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, the largest provider of specialized mental health clinical, community outreach and research services east of Toronto thus ensuring the best possible patient care, comfort and leading edge research to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 patients and their families affected by mental illness.
